I was born and raised in Columbus, Indiana. I am the 7th out of 8 children. My beloved parents were my inspiration to go into the field of medicine. My father was a family practitioner for nearly 50 years, and my mother was a nurse. I was truly blessed to witness their example of faith and self-giving love. I married my husband, Jeff, during medical school, and he has been my biggest supporter throughout my career. God has blessed us with three wonderful sons, who have inspired me to be a better person and pediatrician.

I am a board-certified pediatrician with more than 24 years of experience in private practice. During my years at Southpointe Pediatrics, I was privileged to walk alongside so many families and to watch my patients grow into thriving young adults. Yet, I often found myself wishing for more time—time to listen, to support, and to address the growing mental-health needs that have become increasingly prevalent over the past decade. 
 
That is why I am grateful for the opportunity to serve families through Morning Star Pediatrics, where I can practice medicine in the way I always believed children and parents deserve. I want every child to know their dignity and worth. My goal is simple: for every child and parent to feel a little better, more supported, and more hopeful than they did before they walked through my door.
